Neighborhood groups demand closure of Remigio Crespo bars and discos

Homeowners on avenues Remigio Crespo, Del Estadio and Paucarbamba, and surrounding streets, have formed a citizen committee to demand the closure of bars and discos that are in these sectors. The committee says that the location of these businesses in these neighborhoods creates disorder, insecurity and congestion of vehicles, and restlessness and anxiety to the neighbors. They have written a public letter to Pedro Palacios, the mayor of Cuenca, and they will deliver it with the signatures of support of the leaders of each zone to request immediate and definitive actions be taken.
