Three interprovincial buses were retained by the CTE

The National Transit Agency (ANT), the Transit Commission of Ecuador (CTE) and the Mobility Enterprise (EMOV EP) intensified their controls on interprovincial transport buses during this carnival holiday in the province of Azuay with surprising results. According to a report from the CTE, two units of the Patria cooperative were retained this weekend at kilometer (km) 11 of the route Cuenca-Molleturo-El Empalme. Both vehicles were transporting on a Guayaquil-Cuenca route but did not have the authorization to do so. The impounded buses were transported to the retention yards of the CTE and their drivers received a citation for not complying…
