Organizations seek to propose a seismic resistance standard in Cuenca

The Azuay Architect Bar Association (CAA) and the Chamber of Construction of Cuenca (CCC) are proposing a law to regulate construction standards, specifically for the seismic resistance in new constructions. “A lot of times it doesn’t depend on us or engineers, whereas we make recommendations, but the owners do not comply with the plans in order to save a few dollars.
