Wow, what a week. I thought that I had seen it all with Donald Trump, but I was wrong.

I knew he would not take being a “loser” very well, but I didn’t expect him to try to “burn down the house” on his way out.

Nor did I expect to see so many people who should know better, jump on his latest bandwagon. Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham of course know better, but nonetheless signed up for the latest con game in crazy town. As have others like Kevin McCarthy and even Mitch McConnell.

Again, no surprises with those four, but what about pretty much the entire rest of the Republican party (with a few exceptions), who have zippered their mouths and have no intention of standing up against Trump and his latest crusade: delegitimizing America’s election system?

Come on, you know as well as I do that there was likely not even a measurable amount of fraud through mail ballots (or dead people voting) as has been claimed by a plethora of conspiracy nuts online. You know that this was a long con, that Donald has been playing for a year now, just in case he needed to float it out in November.

International observers from the Organization of American States (OAS) say they saw no instances of fraud or voting irregularities in the U.S. presidential election.

The delegation from OAS included 28 experts and observers from 13 countries who observed the election process in in Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan and the District of Columbia.

The OAS says the Election Day was peaceful—although there were efforts to intimidate poll workers as the votes were counted—and that the country’s mail-in ballots were a secure system.

And yet, in places like Georgia, Donald’s ridiculous game is even being played out by the state’s two US Senators, David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, both who face runoff elections in January.

They both, without evidence, are claiming that the “Secretary of State has failed to deliver honest and transparent elections. He has failed the people of Georgia, and he should step down immediately.”

But the Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, quickly replied to the ridiculous charge, with his own statement.

“Let me start by saying that is not going to happen. I know emotions are running high. Politics are involved in everything right now. If I was Senator Perdue, I’d be irritated I was in a runoff. And both Senators and I are all unhappy with the potential outcome for our president.” He then added that “the process of reporting results had been orderly and followed the law.

Gabriel Sterling, the voting system implementation manager for Georgia, said, “The facts are the facts, regardless of outcomes. In this state, this time, the election on Election Day was an amazing success.”

But that doesn’t fit into anyone’s conspiracies, so let’s just ignore those two Republicans and listen to all the others who claim there was fraud. Because their evidence is that Donald says there was.

Again, this is all just a big game being perpetrated so that the childlike man that now occupies the White House, can walk away sometime after the Electoral College officially votes him out on December 14th—with his head held high—while tweeting,

“I won the election, everyone knows it! They stole it with the Lamestream media!”

“I did my best to make sure that you all got the person you voted for! It was the biggest hoax wince the Russia Witch hunt!!!”

“I’m not a LOSER!”

And you know what, he’s right about one thing. By being such a terrible president, he did do his “best to make sure that we [you] all got the person we [you] voted for!”

Unfortunately, we will have to wait until Donald runs out of excuses before the transition can begin. That will put America in a dangerous situation. The reason for a two-and-a-half-month transition period is so that the next President (and administration) can step in seamlessly on January 20th, without leaving any room for America’s enemies to find a way to hurt the country.

But Donald doesn’t care. He never listened to advisors, or read reports, or looked into what science or experts were saying. So, he probably figures the next real President won’t need to do that either.

Again, I wouldn’t have expected anything less from the….loser.

  1. I do not look forward to the next couple of months, we have had to deal with this cry baby for the last 4 years. He started cry on day one when he did not get the most votes to get elected.
