Cosepe recommends Lasso issue decree for confronting terrorism with lethal force

The Public and State Security Council (Cosepe) recommended that President Lasso issue a decree to define actions to confront terrorism, including the use of lethal weapons. Following Cosepe's decision to declare terrorism a threat to the State, Defense Minister Luis Lara spoke about the new role that the Armed Forces will have.
