Study finds that 10% of Cuenca has had COVID

The urban parishes with the highest prevalence of the disease were: El Vecino with 25.6%; Machángara with 22.1%; El Batán with 20.1%; Totoracocha with 13.9%; Bellavista with 12.4%; among others.

Data must drive public policy

The professor indicated that this research also showed that the use of a mask, social distancing and hand washing is a practice that in Cuenca has a fairly high percentage of compliance: higher than 90%.
