The booths at the Plaza San Francisco will be enhanced through a complementary contract by the Municipality with the goal to improve the condition of the selling stands, which are currently covered with improvised plastic, tents and tarpaulins.
The Management of Historical and Patrimonial Areas analyzed a model that allows to cover the vendors merchandise without affecting the patrimony. Last Friday, the new models were presented.
According to the management, the contract for the construction of the stands has not yet been carried out definitively, which will allow the same contractor who installed the booths to provide a solution to the problem of lack of protection of merchandise.
The contract for the platform and booths was for $300,000 and its provisional reception was in February. The final reception is scheduled for July.
